چکیده
This study examines the spatiotemporal variations of rainfall erosivity in Hengduan Mountains, known for their rugged terrain and high potential soil erosion risks, over past 30 years. Additionally, it investigates changing trends between 2025 2040 under Sustainable Development Pathway 2–4.5 (SSP2–4.5), using four Global Climate Models (GCMs) based on Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 6 (CMIP6). The results indicate: (1) annual distribution Mountains exhibited significant seasonal variations, ranking order summer > autumn spring winter a scale. (2) Over years, there has been slight decrease precipitation corresponding increase erosivity. Periodic extreme values occur every 6–8 (3) Spatially, demonstrates decreasing gradient from southeast to northwest. There is positive correlation precipitation, while negative exists with elevation vertical direction. Furthermore, northeastern part exhibits an increasing trend erosivity, southern region experiences trend. (4) Considering joint driving forces increased erosive events, expected significantly future, posing more severe risk this region.

Rainfall erosivity in Europe.
Rainfall is one the main drivers of soil erosion. The erosive force of rainfall is expressed as rainfall erosivity. Rainfall erosivity considers the rainfall amount and intensity, and is most commonly expressed as the R-factor in the USLE model and its revised version, RUSLE. At national and continental levels, the scarce availability of data obliges soil erosion modellers to estimate this fact...
متن کاملVariability of Rainfall Erosivity and Erosivity Density in the Ganjiang River Catchment, China: Characteristics and Influences of Climate Change
Soil erosion is one of the most critical environmental hazards in the world. Understanding the changes in rainfall erosivity (RE) and erosivity density (ED), as well as their affecting factors, at local and catchment scales in the context of climate warming is an important prerequisite of soil erosion prevention and soil loss risk assessment. The present study identified the variability and tre...
متن کاملMapping monthly rainfall erosivity in Europe
Rainfall erosivity as a dynamic factor of soil loss by water erosion is modelled intra-annually for the first time at European scale. The development of Rainfall Erosivity Database at European Scale (REDES) and its 2015 update with the extension to monthly component allowed to develop monthly and seasonal R-factor maps and assess rainfall erosivity both spatially and temporally. During winter m...

Abstract Following the results of a study carried out for the neighbouring Sicilian region, this paper reports a study of the applicability of the annual value, F , of the Arnouldus index to represent the erosion risk in Calabrian region. Firstly, By using 214 values of the mean annual value of the erosivity index, FF, and a Kriging interpolation method, an isoerosivity map is plotted. Then, in...
متن کاملShort communication Rainfall erosivity in Cape Verde
This paper presents rainfall erosivity values derived from a 7-year rainfall recording in the Cape Verde islands, Central East Atlantic. The data set consisted of 63 storm events, continuously registered in 15-min intervals. Kinetic energy of storm rainfall corresponded to established values in other tropical locations. Two algorithms to estimate erosivity, expressed as energy times intensity, ...
